World Traveler and Musician John Wubbenhorst brings his bansuri (North Indian bamboo flute) along with many stories of meeting his bansuri guru (Hariprasad Chaurasia) and many unique stories of playing in India, China, Fiji and all over the world. John will be playing traditional North Indian ragas on the bansuri and also some of his own compositions. Get ready for a meditative and heart moving experience.

John Wubbenhorst is one of the foremost western disciples of the great bansuri maestro Hariprasad Chaurasia and the founder and leader of the world music group "Facing East". John also has 2 degrees in world music and has played with many greats such as Jack DeJohnette, Paul Horn, Larry Coryell, Ramesh Mishra, Hariprasad Chaurasia, Victor Wooten and others.
