The Festival of Conscious Parenting, scheduled for the Summer Solstice 2014 in Santa Rosa, is a dharma event that will offer inspiration, wisdom, and practices from multiple spiritual traditions in service of creating loving, nurturing contexts for children, adolescents, and families. Our panel of speakers—our chorus of creators—will speak to the question of conscious parenting: what is conscious parenting? How can we create it, moment by moment? How can we support it? Listen to just some of the many voices speaking to, and speaking about, the dharma of conscious generation of conscious parenting.

Mike Changaris is a clinical and research psychologist and Zen practitioner. Laura Duggan is a Waldorff teacher, founder of Nicasio Press, mother and grandmother, and author of Inquiring Life. Jay Herdt is an acupuncture physician, father, and spiritual practitioner seeking balance. Jacqueline Kramer is the author of Buddha Mom and other works, a mother and grandmother, and founder of Hearth Foundation. Rob Schmidt directs Tayu Meditation Center and co-founded Many Rivers.
